Anticipation is building here at Fall Creek® in Oregon with our employee garden off to an exciting start at our Pleasant Hill Farm with 400 tomato plants and 800 peppers planted today. Led by Farm Manager Brett Webber and some members of his team, the half-acre site is prepared and ready for in-ground planting.

Crops this year, requested by employees, include more than 10 varieties of peppers including poblanos, jalapenos, sweet bell, and more. Tomatillos and a variety of tomatoes such as Romas, slicers, and several types of heirloom tomato varieties are being produced. Additionally, sweet corn, cucumbers, zucchini, watermelons, cantaloupe, and 4 varieties of pumpkins will be grown.

As harvests begin, boxes of healthy, fresh produce will be delivered weekly to each Fall Creek® Oregon location for sharing among employees. It is a wonderful and special summer treat that is fast becoming a favorite annual tradition.
