Fall Creek Names Scott Cully as Regional Director, U.S. and Canada

Fall Creek Farm & Nursery, Inc., a blueberry breeding and nursery company, has announced Scott Cully as regional director for the United States and Canada, reporting to Co-CEO Oscar Verges. Cully joined the company as general manager in 2008. He will be based in Lowell, Oregon.

“We have been fortunate to enjoy Scott’s tremendous contributions in so many initiatives across Fall Creek over the years and see the promise of good things to come from the expertise he will bring to the U.S. team and our grower customers,” says Verges. “As the industry increases its focus on quality, consumer expectations, and sustained grower success and profitability, Scott will bring passion, humility and experience in the role as regional director for the U.S. and Canada. We are proud to have him in this new capacity with Fall Creek.”

“I have been tremendously blessed with the opportunity to work on so many Fall Creek projects. This is a homecoming for me,” says Cully. “Our biggest opportunity in the U.S. is to help bring the blueberry industry here to its next level. In this mature market, there are many exceptional growers and plenty of opportunities for new varieties and innovation. We’re excited to collaborate with our customers and see the market evolve.”

Previously, Cully was director of orchards for Harry & David in Medford, Ore., and nursery manager for J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. in Boring, Ore. He studied agriculture at Colorado State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture from University of Connecticut.
