Elsa Muller is one of two Fall Creek Farm & Nursery South Africa sales and grower support representatives whose passion for growing runs long and deep. Elsa grew up in the small town of Riebeek Kasteel in the beautiful Swartland, where her whole family worked in agriculture (wine or fruit). So when she had to decide what she wanted to do after school, a career in agriculture was a natural choice.

She started her studies at Elsenburg Agricultural College in Stellenbosch, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree majoring in viticulture and horticulture, and then specialized in pome fruit at SAPO Trust, a plant improvement organization, for 10 years. Before coming to Fall Creek, she obtained a certificate from the MDP at the Businesses School of Stellenbosch University, where she also completed her post-graduate in agronomy.

We’re fortunate that Elsa found her new “grown-up” ag family here at Fall Creek, immediately jumping in to travel the Capes — from Western to Eastern, and Southern to Northern, as well as Namibia, to meet and support growers as part of a global team — and family-focused on blueberry grower success.
