High Chill

Katahdin

Katahdin is a more vigorous and cold-hardy improvement over Draper. The fruit quality is an improvement over Bluecrop and could be a successful alternative in areas with harsh winters. Katahdin has larger, firmer fruit than Bluecrop and a smaller picking scar. This variety was developed by Michigan State University who also released Draper, Calypso, and Legacy.
