BiancaBlue® ‘FCM12-087’

BiancaBlue® ‘FCM12-087' is a standout for its high brix, and low cull rates and superior fruit quality. Selected for evergreening production systems, it has a spreading habit, with small leaves and internode spacing, similar to 'Biloxi'. Under our management practices, the fruit from BiancaBlue® ‘FCM12-087' is light blue, with very good firmness, flavor, and small scars. It is primarily produced from primocane and resting buds. Cross-pollination may be necessary to ensure maximum fruit size. Additionally, the proper establishment of BiancaBlue® in the first year is important for future yields.

“BiancaBlue is the most cosmetically attractive berry in the zero chill program of the Fall Creek Collection. It naturally produces during spring, and the plants can be trained to grow in a more upright and branched fashion suited to tipping and pruning. ”
