IT Director:

Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Global Director of IT. This position will be located in Eugene, Oregon.

The Fall Creek Global IT Director will be responsible for the development, planning, and implementaion of the worldwide Information technology (IT) strategy to accelerate business growth and enable innovation objectives, deliver optimal return on investment, create cyber security capabilities, and attract, and grow, top IT talent around the globe.

What you'll do at Fall Creek:

  • As part of the Executive Management team, build & maintain trusted relationships with all members of the Fall Creek executive team
  • Lead the development of a 3-5 year IT Strategy, closely aligned with strategic business strategies & objectives and grounded in industry-leading digital and technological trends
  • Chair the enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) function to oversee all change initiatives (business and IT) and ensure adherence to effective Project Management methodology and discipline
  • Adopt contemporary Agile methods & practices for (SaaS) Application Development, Implementation, and Maintenance
  • Ensure efficient IT operations so that SLA’s are met and IT systems are upgraded and current, with minimal technical debt, while keeping operational costs at 50% or less of total IT budget
  • Lead and develop a team of 5-7 direct reports located around the globe, and a total team of 15-20 IT resources

What you bring to Fall Creek:

  • Experience working with, and leading, a multinational IT team
  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Enthusiasm for building and working in a highly-collaborative and teamwork-oriented environment
  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field; MS/MA would be a plus
