Pink Lemonade

A Pink fruited blueberry! Pink Lemonade is a vigorous upright hybrid with sweet and firm, pink berries. Pink Lemonade has proven hardy as far north as New Jersey, yet will perform best in milder climates including areas where Rabbiteye cultivars can be grown. It is recommended that another Rabbiteye cultivar be planted with Pink Lemonade to ensure good cross-pollination.

One of the earliest ripening varieties for low chill regions, Ventura is a vigorous variety that has very fast growth and enters into production at a very young stage. It has performed well under evergreen management in plastic tunnels in Southern Europe. The fruit is large and firm with a mild flavor. Tip pruning during spring-summer growth benefits its upright habit. Due to this upright habit, the narrow crown and fast growth could be sensitive to wind damage during the first couple of years after planting, therefore use of good windbreaks and protection are highly recommended.
