Kestrel™ ‘FL02-40’ is a very early (Springhigh season) southern highbush variety with excellent dessert quality. Released by the University of Florida in 2010, initial performance in the southeastern U.S. has been good, and commercial trialing in California and other low chill regions is recommended.
